Context, sleep, training load, and daily sensations help give meaning to a painted zone.
A painted zone becomes more useful when it is connected to context. After a session, note the simple things first: what you did today, how you slept, whether the sensation felt sharp, dull, heavy, warm, or protective.
Patterns often appear in the ordinary details. A knee that lights up after certain runs, a shoulder that returns during desk-heavy weeks, or a lower back that changes with fatigue can all become easier to interpret when they are tracked consistently.
The goal is not to over-analyze every signal. It is to keep a clean trail that helps you and, when needed, a professional ask better questions.
