If you would like to have your Tension account and associated personal data permanently deleted, please send an email to dueldebate@gmail.com with the subject line: "Tension - Account Deletion Request".
- Your account email address (the email associated with your Tension account).
- Your display name or username (if applicable).
- A short sentence confirming that you request permanent deletion of your Tension account and all related data.
- Optional: any additional context (e.g. multiple accounts, previously used emails).
For security reasons we may need to verify your identity or ask for additional information before completing the deletion. We will never ask you to send passwords, social security numbers, or other highly sensitive data by email. If verification is required, follow the instructions provided in our reply.
After we receive your request and complete any necessary verification, we will process the deletion. Typical processing time is up to 30 days. You will receive a confirmation email once the deletion has been completed.
What will be deleted
When your account is deleted we will remove personal data associated with your account from our active systems, including:
- Profile information (email, display name, etc.)
- Saved sessions, pain reports and analytics
- Any exported or shared content stored only in your account
Important notes
- This action is irreversible.
- Backups or logs may retain anonymized or aggregated data for a limited time as required by security and auditing processes.
- If you used third-party sign-in (e.g. Google or Apple) we may not be able to remove data stored by those providers - contact the provider for questions about their data handling.
